Objective and brief summary of the project:

The objective of the project is to strengthen the capacity of the UNECE member States to introduce and update green and healthy sustainable transport and mobility solutions through the development of a strategy for THE PEP and then pilot national action plans. The Strategy will provide the framework for the UNECE member States to implement green and healthy sustainable transport and mobility policies focused on the increased use of safe public transport, encouraging modal shift away from the use of the private vehicle, ensuring the integration of spatial planning and transport planning and the promotion of active mobility.
