Objective and brief summary of the project:
The project aims to strengthen statistical capacity of CIS countries to provide high quality statistics and indicators to monitor progress towards SDGs. The project focuses on environmental statistics as the data availability in this area is the lowest among the three pillars of sustainable development (economic, social and. environmental pillar). The objective will be achieved through a series of workshops, development of guidelines and translation of key reference documents in this area into Russian.
